Mrs Taiwo Silifat Ige - President AERMP

Mrs Ige is a competent strategist capable of developing innovative plans and activities designed to facilitate competitive growth and competitive superiority.  Possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills; the ability to influence decisions and to develop positive relationships both internally and externally. She has over 32 years or banking experience.

  • She started her career with Union Bank of Nigeria in 1981 holding various strategic positions until she left in 1995.
  • She also served as Head of operations, Head of research and corporate development at Consolidated Discount Limited between 1995- 2012

 

She holds various positions as

  • First Vice Chairman, Lagos State Branch CIBN – 2012 to date
  • Chairman, Consultancy Committee, Lagos State Branch – 2012 to date

She held various positions as a member CIBN in the past as;

  • Chairperson, Professional Women Bankers – 2009 – 2011
  • Co-Coordinator, Lagos Bankers Nite, - 2010 – 2012
  • Council member – 2010 -2012
  • Member Branch and Membership Development Committee – 2010 – 2012
  • Member, CACA – 2010
  • 2ND Vice Chairman, Lagos Branch – 2008 – 2010

 

She also served as

  • Church Steward Methodist Church of Trinity, Tinubu Lagos 2013
  • President Ore Ofe Society, Methodist Church Iju Circuit 2009 – 2011
  • Patroness, Association of Methodist Brigades AMB Diocese of Lagos Mainland

She has honoured with various awards which include;
